TOPIC: KINGDOM PURPOSE AND  PRAYERS


TEXT: Act 4:31

_And when their prayer was ended, the place


where they were was violently moved, and they all became full of the Holy Spirit, preaching the word of God without fear_


LESSON

They prayed for one purpose which was the only one Christ came for and the power of God came down. The burden of Christ was the central point of their prayers. Miracles were needed to advance that mandate of Christ and when it was asked in alignment of purpose, God granted it. Principle of purpose is key in praying in this Kingdom. What is good may be bad when out of purpose.The purpose of God is to make us witnesses. The motive behind all you need and pray for should be to make you an effective witness at the end.The cars God wants to give you is to make you a sample of His glory. The beautiful family you need is to reproduce God's counsel generationally.  That wealth is also to spread the gospel. Anything not attached to kingdom purpose is a distraction in disguise.


Someone may say, what then remains for myself? Don't I want something for self? Won't I just ask for myself? 


_For your life on earth is done, and you have a secret life with Christ in God_

Col 3:3


Your life is in him. All is in him. So outside him,  purpose dies. Many wonder why they are not burning for God but the secret is the misalignment of purpose. The major 66desire of your heart is all for yourself. Such a vessel cannot pray with such boldness like men totally possessed with kingdom agenda.


But the benefits are enormous. Signs and wonders are the first. Such power that no devil can resist .Wisdom to glorify him in all things by all means. These among many. Until the corn of a wheat dies,it abides alone but after it dies, it comes back to glory. Die to self in pursuit and desire the highest in line with kingdom purpose. Command in prayers and heaven shall give his rain of grace upon such kingdom desires.


PRAYER ALERT

Thank you Father for this word. Align me with your agenda on this generation in the name of Jesus!
