TEXT: 2 Cor 4:8-12

_We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you._


LESSONS


Men of fresh fire are men with convictions that withstood challenges. Sometimes, it is not by exploits that we know men-on-fire but by their ability to withstand challenges. A man without such persuasion is burning for nothing. When something is more than life to you, then you are on fire for that thing. Until you see life in the view of eternity, you cannot be on fire for God.It is time to wake up and rise from the lying position to standing for the mandate of Christ. That is the legacy that will transcend your own existence on this earth. For many, the reality of life becomes clear when they lose a dear friend or a close person. Life become vanity indeed. All is vanity: vanity upon vanity! The modern Christian has omitted what should build the faith of men on Christ and make them die hard Christians. We have rather built our values on temporary things and that is why the nation is in shambles and the whole world is in darkness.


PRAYER ALERT

Set me on fire lord by

causing me  to see life from eternity to today
