TOPIC: WHO ART THOU?


TEXT:  Gen 1:26

 _God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them  reflecting our nature……”_


LESSONS

What happened at the fall of man was  disconnection not a dissolution. The potentials God  invested into Adam went into quiescent state but did not dissolve. The life of God is the power source to make all these things work. When the separation took place, Adam died(functionally).This is similar to saying that the power source ,life source was put off. Similar to when you put off the light source of a house. Darkness and lack of functionality of man’s capacity were the result. Let us consider this analogy. If a house is well electrified with fan, AC, electric bulb etc and connected to the public light source and starts functioning. When all these appliances are put on, there will be beauty in that room. This is how the glory of God is seen in man. The manifestation of the deposit of God in man to the fullness is grace in manifestation. The fuel for the original man , the power source for all these potentials was God himself and this is grace. When man was absolutely dependent on God, what manifested was grace. Then, men can manifest these potentials to the full. Adam was born in grace and lived in grace that was the manifestation of  the life of God in him. This is first  and the richest among the currency that we have in the commonwealth bank:  grace! We must therefore know how grace finds expression on daily basis so that we can know how to walk in the fullness of this commonwealth. Paul spoke about the inexhaustible riches of Christ (Ephesians 3:8).This is the greatest treasure. Grace makes us somebody, puts on the dormant potentials, brings functionality, productivity etc and the glory of God in the man will be seen. God in man is grace. 



The fullness of grace will not however be seen until we understand this new and living way which utterly crushes the veil which is self (Heb 10:20).

Grace with self is pollution. A message of grace that takes no cognizance of what Christ has done to the flesh at the cross will lead to chaos. There will surely be pollution. Submission will be lacking, rebellion will be the offshoot and division will emerge. The door to the new and living way of grace was opened  by cutting through the flesh.


What does grace do in summary? First it restores that God kind of manifestation in man. The fan, the AC  and all other gadgets in man can be  restored to full functionality. Many believers have not paid attention to this primary aspect and that is why they are poor though inherently rich. I see mighty giants rising from the church as he unfolds this era of greater grace that produces greater works. Paul said by the grace of God, I am what I am ( 1 Corinthians 15:10).Grace made him somebody!

Thank you father for this unveiling of  your treasure, as I delve into this realm. I receive greater illumination in Jesus name.
